With recent SEC and CFTC guidance clarifying that many creator tokens, community tokens, and digital collectibles are not securities, builders now have more room to experiment intentionally. This talk explores how tokens can serve projects as coordination infrastructure before and after launch to identify supporters, reward participation, and reinforce real momentum. WHY THIS MATTERS Farcaster is becoming a place where builders increasingly launch tokens through creator coins, Clanker deployments, and mini-apps. Many projects experiment publicly but still lack clear frameworks for what tokens should actually do. This talk shares practical patterns builders can use to design tokens that support their communities and grow durable participation instead of short-term speculation cycles.
