These captures were taken a year ago.
At home.
Today I found them again - just a random moment in my gallery, and it suddenly hurt more than I expected.
Because I realized something simple and unbearable at the same time:
I may never see this city the way it was again.
Not because I left.
But because it’s being slowly, systematically destroyed.
It’s a strange kind of grief, when a place still exists on the map, but the version of it you love lives only in memory.
So today I’m holding on to these photos a little tighter.
To the streets, the light, the quiet details that once felt ordinary.
