Happy Beaver Moon! Last apples still hanging were collected from the tree, now ready for winter dormancy. Thanks for the bountiful harvest this year, was one of the best ever.

gorgeous, i love the smell of apples. I planted one of my favorite varieties out front 2 springs ago, I am hoping this next season will be our first harvest - but It could still be another year after than, I am told.

I planted two new apple trees a couple of years ago and let them make one apple each this year just so I could taste them and confirm it was a good choice. Love both! I shared those precious first apples with several friends in a taste test, both approved! Hoping for a small harvest in 2026.

wow, I have never tried an apple with internal color like the guy on the right! I am a bit sad thinking how i only want to stay at this home for a few more years before we move to a larger property -- but when that time comes I will lovingly leave my apple tree behind for the next owners. where did you plant your trees?

You can take some small branches from the apple to graft into another in the new property in the future ;) The red flesh apple is not only pretty but also very yummy. One of my friends who took part in the taste test said she didn't expect it to be so good, she had heard those were pretty but not tasty.

Oh, and the tree is in my allotment, here's a throwback to when it first arrived. It makes deep red/pink coloured flowers as well ❤️
