My thoughts on @noiceapp, @tipn and the /degen mini-app so far: Automatic tipping on likes feels like paying for my likes. It takes away a bit of my joy in organically liking casts. It's the only option on Tipn and Degen for now. With Noice I've set it up to tip on recast and this feels much better. 💚

I think this is a good model. Since recast is questionable as a button. 😅 I have likes set at min .02 . Consider it marketing expense if you will. Expectations of recapture through airdrops and random other interactions. Still like liberally My favorite part of the like is that it is unspoken. I don’t like announcing my tips per se. (Same for recast tbh) 42 $tipn

that is a good way to explain how i have been feeling. I am gonna sit with this for a bit. But i do like that tipn is helping fund me to tip friends and encounters on the timeline. yeah, i need to think on it more.

I still haven’t tried any of these tools. Not a big fan of this kind of tipping. I really prefer to choose who and how much I tip.

I totally get the stealing your joy for organically liking casts. I don't know the solution though, so I think this is a bit better than seeing walls of 54 $degen tips, for example.
