Why I'm so bullish on @linea Let's go 1. Why launch a new campaign based on liquidity? All of Linea's metrics are strong, the technology is developing well. And this TVL has been disappointing for now. Marco uses the analogy of blood in the body; TVL keeps an ecosystem alive. By creating this new campaign, people with funds are encouraged to lock them on Linea in exchange for incentives (LXP-L). 2. What will the value of LXP-L be? It's unknown, and that's expected. The idea is not to dilute those who have earned LXPs the hard way when the blockchain was new, when a lot of money had to be spent for the DeFi Voyage & Linea Park, but also lot of time during the testnet. Also can mentioning side tasks (Polyhedra, Rush, Lyve etc.). So, there will be a weighting between LXP-L and LXP to define "rewards" fairly. This weighting will be defined once the team knows the final supply of LXP and LXP-L.
3. Will it favor whales? To some extent, yes. If whales keep their ETH for more than a month, they'll earn LXP-L. The more ETH they put into liquidity, the more LXP-L they'll gain. 4. Will we see another case like the Justin Sun / EtherFi move, I talked about here on my french tweets? https://twitter.com/nCrizia/status/1769127630098284968 No. Because the system is designed not to reward short-term liquidity movements. It's a program of up to six months, and each month, calculations are made to award LXP-L.
