📣 New update on frames.sh - I've added a new feature that allows users to build mini-apps. Wrote a some details on the blog below. +1 @betashop.eth. my "why FC": the loneliness crisis is real. people want to feel part of a community, more so than they want to be popular, that's actively engage with shared interests and experiences. but social media today offer too much media and not nearly enough social. as users feel more and more disconnected without a way to authentically connect, they instead turn to substacks, patreons, discords, podcast groups, and slacks. there they find what's missing from mainstream social media: high-quality content, meaningful engagement, opportunities for collaboration, and a sense of belonging. the issue is that these platforms are siloed and, as a result, the communities are fragmented with everyone forced to start from zero on each one. with farcaster, we only have to start from zero once — making it easier than ever to find and build content-rich, culture-driven communities that co-create together. with farcaster, you can get reach without sacrificing intimacy. is it time to move beyond crypto?

A few months ago there was a discussion about who was going to start a farcaster dev podcast. Is there interest in a GM Farcaster style news show but with a developer focus? Can any devs help me find a solution for this? Building a game and when a user guesses word X, I want to see if it's sufficiently similar to word Y. could I deploy some kind of mini, local LLM inside my codebase for this? ideally don't want to wait / pay each time for an openai api call.

Oh hey! I have 200 followers now! Time for a reintroduction I guess! I’m an Audhd gen xer. Mom to a young adult who is also neurodivergent. Queer, witch, author, singer, hypnotherapist. I tend to bounce between projects as the dopamine takes me but love reading, outdoors, exercise, music, my kid and my dog. I’m also a spirit medium and do oracle readings and house cleansing (evict unwanted spirit entities.) What do you want to know?
