Artists die twice! once when they stop breathing, and again when everyone forgets their name and their work fades away into nothing. I don’t really chase immortal fame anymore (though if it comes, cool, haha) I just make art so that long after I’m gone—after my body’s been burned to dust and poured into the river— my son and grandkids can still look at it and feel that I was here. That’s already more than enough for me. Thank you for reading my idiot post
