This year I built: 🔵 Hosted the first-ever Calabar Base Meetup, onboarding developers, helping attendees set up wallets, claim Basenames, and explore opportunities in the Base ecosystem. 🔵 Participated in key Twitter Spaces: ֍ Shared insights on @SendAfrica’s payment solution built on Base. ֍ Joined Base Africa's discussions on ecosystem growth. ֍ Contributed to the Post-Buildathon session, offering feedback and improvement ideas. ֍ Spoke on “Degen on Base”, sharing my experiences in the ecosystem. 🔵 Organized a community call to guide builders on earning opportunities and positioning effectively on Base. 🔵 Built a continuity plan, connecting the Calabar Base Community with the larger African Base Builders Network to foster collaboration and growth. This week I built: 🔵Attended a Space by @send Africa, a mobile application built on Base for seamless, low-cost, and secure payment peer to peer transactions. They have made transactions easy and safe with their enhanced security features. 🔵Joined a Space hosted by @kokocodes and @iamcharis from Base Africa. It was insightful to hear discussions around the growth of the Base ecosystem in Africa and opportunities for community members. Joined the Post-Buildathon session where participants shared feedback and discussed improvements for the next Buildathon. It was a great opportunity to reflect and plan for better future buildathon. 🔵Engaged in a space hosted by @kokocodes focused on "Degen on Base." We discussed the degen culture within Base, and I had the chance to share my experience degening on Base and shared insights on being part of the ecosystem. This week I built: 🔵 I hosted a Google Meet community call for the Calabar Base Builders, bringing together builders and enthusiasts in the Base ecosystem. It was an impactful session where I helped some members acquire Warpcast accounts and funded Basenames for others, further integrating them into the Base community. During the call, I shared insights on how to effectively position oneself as a builder. 🔵 I also attended a Twitter Space hosted by @boywrit3r where I shared insights on key topics within the Base ecosystem.
