Everyone’s asking why Monad is raising again after $225M from VCs.
But here’s why it actually makes sense:
• It’s an L1, and running a chain takes serious funding.
• The raise helps distribute tokens fairly. More retail, less VC concentration.
• Unlike Hyperliquid (which made $1B+ revenue from perps), Monad doesn’t yet have a built-in revenue engine.
• It also sets a fair launch floor with transparent pricing.
• And it brings in more real users ahead of mainnet, boosting the whole ecosystem.
This is more about decentralization for me.
