We happen to live on rent. My wife and I make excellent money, so I can't complain. But the problem is that my wife is a spender and all the money she earns she spends on manicures, pedicures, restaurants, constantly orders clothes on marketplaces, and by the end of the month she never has any money. Even though I pay for rent, groceries, and our outings together. It would seem like you could save up and go somewhere or save up for a down payment on an apartment, and we don't have a dime.
