Many crypto leaders worked hard to bring Democrats on board, but it didn’t happen. The progressive playbook often involves framing issues as political to mobilize their base - even when those issues arguably shouldn’t be.

You can't really say crypto is apolitical when the crypto political action committees  coalesces around Donald trump. 

I think the bigger reason for dems reluctance is the sbf drama of all the money they took from him that left a mark.
