New post: Fractionally Curious: The Lucky Liquidity of Today’s Talent Market 🍀 With so many people on the job market right now, and such a profound increase in fractional work, we all should be asking: “What would it be like to work with all of your favorite people again?” https://paragraph.xyz/@bethanycrystal/fractionally-curious-the-lucky-liquidity-of-todays-talent-market

Outside of very early-stage startups, I see basically zero companies interested in hiring part-time engineers. What am I missing?

I think of it less as "part time work" and more about carving out "project-based work" that you can chunk and essentially sell as separate services. examples could be: technical architecture review, smart contract review, infrastructure audit, new vendor/tooling review, overseeing a specific engineering launch or initiative, fractional CTO work to oversee a team etc, etc. i'd think about the side of engineering that you are strongest at, and how you could turn that into a repeatable, scalable project
