Everyone’s talking about AI x crypto—but very few understand what actually matters. It’s not AI agents trading tokens. It’s the idea of autonomous AI systems that own and move crypto on-chain. We are entering a world where a model could hold and manage treasury assets without human permission. Imagine DAOs run by LLMs, smart contracts that adjust themselves, or protocols that evolve by analyzing their own data. That’s both extremely exciting and extremely terrifying. Once AI controls capital, can we ever turn it off? The real question isn’t “What new AI tokens should I buy?” It’s “What happens when code has agency?”
