Are "no addition" or "zero addition" really healthier and of higher quality? Take a certain fruit juice drink as an example: The food label states "no added sucrose", but in fact, sucrose is just one type of sugar in the "sugar" family. The ingredient list may also contain fructose, fruit glucose syrup, etc. To avoid misleading consumers, the new national standard stipulates that prepackaged foods are not allowed to use expressions like "no addition" or "zero addition".
