Farcaster has better ID system, and syncing story than BlueSky, if it also had embedded partial replication hub, it would have been local first too.

If I understand Farcaster correctly, while it is efficient to sync casts, each cast is signed and verified individually, with some adjustments it could have been an aggregation of PMTs one per user, where the entire state of user's data is verified by one signature. Basically a feed of databases.

I wonder if Farcaster will ever have to deal with the biggest pain ever: Access control enforced by untrusted peers. I envy Nostr, AtProto, and Farcaster for not having to worry about that... yet?
