If you are bullish on Farcaster, you are not aligned with how the crypto ecosystem operates today. It has no defining purpose, it does not outperform in any category, and it still has not proven itself as a viable social layer. The market already relies on X, Discord, and Telegram because they actually serve traders effectively without adding friction. The wallet focus reads as a last attempt to generate activity in a platform with almost no real volume in comparison to the bigger players. No serious trader is going to route transactions through a wallet tied to an isolated social environment. It provides no competitive benefit and only increases exposure, and even exporting the wallet is a tedious and unnecessary process. At this point, Farcaster’s only meaningful asset is an older community base and a few talented builders. Either could move to X or Discord without losing anything.
