My first attempt to make money in crypto (2023): Ledger suggests earning with Lido, so Iet's give it a try... Send $1000 of ETH, pay a $40 fee, realize I'll make $35 in a year, hit "withdraw," pay another $40 fee, the experiment is over. Didn't touch anything for six months after that.
