Just saw the new avatar movie. Imax 3d. It was very cool visually for the first 2 hours, but the next 1.5 hours I was hoping it would end "to be continued" Overall it was ok. Zero audience reactions so I'd say there is zero connection with any characters. Typically Hollywood fight/chase scenes in 3d. The theater had those cool vibrating seats, barely noticeable until the whale creatures started talking. I'm not a fan of Avatar but love getting out with the fam. We all thought there were missing scenes cut for time because a few transitions made no sense.
