thank you, @patriciaxlee.eth ! I love hearing this, and wish more people could experience something similar/adjacent, even if only once. the humanization is so important. how could something like that NOT stay with you? I helped start a creative writing program at a men’s prison, and now volunteer for a restorative justice program, among other things. point being: your experience, mine—however small or big—contributes to us seeing and treating one another as fellow humans instead of intangible others.
