Less than a decade ago, expert consensus on when AGI would be achieved was a whopping 80+ years.
By 2020, when GPT3 was released, it had already fallen to 50 years.
2 years later when ChatGPT launched, it was down to 18 years.
By march 2025 it was down to only 5 years.
Curious how low it is now.
My guess is 6-7.
