My take: - Jesse and Base clearly/naturally have tremendous power to influence narratives and boost projects. - Obviously every project wants to be in the spotlight, but obviously every project can’t. - So, Base has poured unprecedented resources into building an ecosystem, app, and network that supports all builders. - Wherever possible, the benefits are equally accessible to everyone. - When that’s not possible (direct financial or labor intensive support), those benefits must be earned. Still, Base provides a ton of support to very early stage projects, including first time builders starting with an idea. Countless examples of this. - If you build a killer app on Base, you will get Base’s support. Would be crazy for them not to. - If you rely on Base, or any chain for that matter, to support you in order for your app to be successful, then not even Jesse or Base can save you. - Base is doing the best they can to increase TVL, users, and distribution, and it’s working. Honestly crazy how far they’ve come in such a short time. P.S. if you don’t like content coins, don’t use them. If you think Base should focus more on other metas, show them why. They will listen. P.P.S. I never understand why such great people get so much hate some time. Jesse Pollak is an amazing human, and the world is lucky to have him. I feel the same way about David too.
