I witnessed firsthand how home chores might either foster harmony or conflict while I was growing up in a family of four. We sought equilibrium while growing from our errors. My sister Emma and I were cleaning one Saturday while our parents were away. We split up the work, but I found the dishes difficult, so Emma completed fast, which frustrated me.
