my nine-year-old son couldn’t fall asleep last night, so we played a few games of chess to quiet his over-active mind. this morning, he wanted to keep playing. but i was making lunches for him & his brother, so i set him up with Capablanca’s Best Chess Endings and he had a blast playing through a game by himself.
