Despite technological progress, poor user experience remains crypto’s biggest barrier. Complex wallets, seed phrases, and gas fees alienate mainstream users. UX bottlenecks limit adoption more than scalability or regulation. Abstraction—social recovery wallets, gasless transactions, and fiat on-ramps—can resolve friction. If solved, crypto can onboard billions. If not, usage remains niche. UX is not just design—it is the bridge between potential and reality. Solving it may be the industry’s most important challenge.
