Your question is a bit off. Plants don't make honey, they make nectar. Bees make honey from nectar, a big difference. But yes, a honey solution attracts things. Bees mostly - Also wasps, hornets, ants, it's just sugar water to them-an easy meal, they smell the sugar and they come. The problem is, it's a bad idea.
