2 - its not really an issue to me. Personally just ignore it and scroll pass it. but that also maybe because i havent seen a high spam ratio to genuine replies.
I totally get that in data science its easier to read but it is arguably still confusing to atleast half of the world's population who grew up in ddyymm basis https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_format_by_country
I would give up Farenheit over any of this. I stayed in the US for a month and I had a hard time registerin 60F as cool temperature. For meter/kg, I was able to just switch the psychology (a +ve num = +ve num) but -1C being 30F is odd (ice level temperature in celcius = +ve positive in Farenheit)
