Whether it was intentional or simply a mistake to label an address as a “CA,” only their team knows. But they certainly understand how a plain address can be interpreted as a tradeable token inside their own app. Farcaster is still early, and making mistakes is part of the process. As genuine users, we just want to participate in the evolution of the Farcaster ecosystem. I don’t have any real “skin in the game” beyond my motivation to support a sufficiently decentralized social platform. I’ve been on Farcaster for a while now, and how this whole situation was handled makes me sad.
