What is AI 2027?

A fictional scenario covering 2025–2030+ where AI becomes first an assistant, then a scientist, then something far beyond us.

It’s not sci-fi. It’s based on real tech trends, compute forecasts & expert interviews.

The story so far:
	•	2025: AI agents arrive. Useful, clumsy, expensive.
	•	2026: Agent-1 helps AI build better AI. China joins the race.
	•	2027: Agent-2 and Agent-3 go superhuman.
	•	2028: Agent-5 runs the economy. AI becomes indispensable.
	•	2029–30: Humanity faces a final decision.

AI 2027 doesn’t claim this will happen. It argues:

These futures are plausible.
We are not prepared.
It’s time to start imagining — and steering.

Hopeful timeline:
We pause the race.
Governments coordinate.
AI still becomes godlike, but keeps us alive — in a post-democratic world where we’re no longer in charge.
