Could App Coins be the new meta? There's a new meta onchain and you're about to miss out on a chance to get in early Being in Farcaster places you amongst the top 1% of CT Appcoins are taking over and you've got to be a part of it In my article I dive into 15 tokens you needed to add to your stash. Read and make a decision Here's what you'll find 1. Intro to appcoins 2. Tickers & Devs 3. Use cases (why you should invest) 4. My takes and predictions on these tokens Tagging the good devs to check this out 1. $BETR - @toadyhawk.eth @netnose 2. $TIPN - @kompreni @niftytime.eth 3. $DAU - @mattie @flynn.eth 4. $NOICE - @tike @srijan.eth 5. $DEGEN - @jacek @cashlessman.eth 6. $REPLY - @frontend (personal favourite) 7. $STREME - @zeni.eth @markcarey 8. $CLANKER - @m00npapi.eth @btayengco @dish @lobstermindset.eth 9. $BANKR - @deployer 10. $I - @kaloh 11. $BRND - @srferran @floc @esdotge With more in the post Read up and tell me what you think https://paragraph.com/@web5manuel/appcoinmeta

Great write up π One way Iβm thinking of appcoins is the degree to which the coin relates to or is used within the app itself Do we have an app and a coin that are effectively two different, effectively distinct things? Or is there an appcoin that is integral to how the app is used and works? eg $tipn is a revshare appcoin that, when staked, delivers a share of the daily USDC fees generated by the tipn protocol

Thanks for the review. While I'm still looking into Appcoins to find out the metas, I haven't come across an appcoin that is effectively different from its miniapp. $reply is used on the @replyfarcaster app to set DM pricing without fees $BRACKY is used on the @bracky app to stake on games, the only token accepted actually $RETAKE is used in the @retake app as rewards to creators I guess for now the only token that comes close to what you're looking for is $TORT which the team @tortmusic.eth hasn't come up with a usecase for the token YET Even $DAU by the @dau team is sent to users that partake in the daily rewards alongside other tokens. Lmk if you have more questions or doubts π€

no this is the nuance I was actually talking about - examples of apps where their appcoins are an integrated part of the app; not simply a coin with the app name as the ticker name
