Agree that we prefer a curated feed of strangers vs our friends doing boring stuff
Disagree that TikTok prioritizes what it thinks we want most. TikTok optimizes for TikTok. Part of why it favors strangers over known brands is because strangers are 20x cheaper. My friend was CFO at a major lifestyle online media company and walked me through the economics
