The EWG is fearmongering BS.
I just looked at their water quality recommendations and they are not anchored in science
They flag radon as a tap water contaminant, recommending a level that's barely higher than the minimum detectable (1.5pCi/L), while linking to research that shows it's an insignificant contributor to actual radon risk
...accompanied by affiliate links to bad water filters
