Salt in atmosphere will probably kill all photosynthetic organism on land. It would probably be disastrous.
Other funny way is to nuke the surface of the moon with atomics bombs to send a cloud of opaque microparticule between earth and moon. (But it will probably destroy all satellites in orbit)
