Machines can process encrypted data directly, without ever decrypting it. And even if hackers manage to break into the system, all they see are meaningless strings of ciphertext. In other words, data never leaves its state of absolute safety. In the world of Web3 and blockchain, where every transaction is transparent, the biggest challenge is protecting privacy without losing decentralization. Many solutions move data off-chain for processing, but this creates reliance on third parties — against the spirit of blockchain. Zama and fheVM solve this by enabling smart contracts to run directly on encrypted data, giving users full control of their information while keeping transparency and decentralization intact.
