A place that I would love to visit is the UNESCO Heritage Site, Agadez in Niger Republic (Gateway to the Desert). Also known as Old Quarter or Old Town, the Historic Centre of Agadez is a worthwhile location to visit. It is located in the Aïr region. The town is historically rich, having the highest mud brick structure in the world. The structures in the town are all made of mud brick with unique designs which are reflection of the grand culture of the place. Agadez once served as a stop for traders across the Sahara in the old days. There are sights like the Agadez Mosque, the sultan's palace and more.
