If we were to work on channels as a developer lego, what should we improve? Decentralizing existing primitive doesn’t drive network growth. So would have to offer something new / compelling.

1. owners can customize look and feel of their channels. not suggesting myspace-level control, more like what youtube does 2. better channel discovery (similar to explore tab for apps) that results in more channel traffic, and that better matches users with a) their interests and, b) others users who share those interests 3. warpcast integrations w/ membership/monetization tools like moxie, rounds, hypersub, etc. that results in more conversions and doesn't feel janky (similar to old channel pass ux) 4. owner playbooks and KPIs. eg. 'in order to build a vibrant community of active, engaged, and retained users do these things, in this order, and track these metrics' 5. channel-specific content and CTAs. eg. in order to see/do these things you must follow/subscribe/contribute/enable notifications/etc. still strongly believe this thesis, however need more support on the product side in order to make it happen https://warpcast.com/nonlinear.eth/0x87a15dab

agreed! great suggestions. I think especially, at the moment, channel explorer & recommendation would be a huge perk. One of the biggest questions I get when onboarding people onto fc is "which channels should I look at?" While i can give recs, the best thing would be to gauge user interest and suggest new channels. I think most people coming on here appreciate the "cozy communities" that form, similar to subreddits, though of course there are those who are looking for maximum reach.
