What do people think of project tokens? What are the best examples you’ve seen? 

Imo some of the best I’ve seen lately are @qrcoindotfun & @noiceapp, the utility provided alongside the token aligns with the underlying project itself 

Been reflecting on this more lately & am curious what you think

I am conducting some FAFO experiments with my own $AJ token. I offer custom origami, digital wearables, emotes, and traditional paintings. 

Last weekend I made a custom tiger origami mask for @compez.eth . During the process I learned how to update metadata on a smart contract. 

This week I hope to teach myself how to use the burn mechanic on manifold so ppl can buy my items directly using $AJ.

I used @rainbow wallet to create my token. Had a number of options during creation. Easy to understand the process.

Very cool! I think that’s a great way to learn, testing as you go. 

Which launcher did you use for the token? 

And re manifold burn, are you saying, eg,  X amount of $Aj can be burned in exchange for another token from your manifold contract?

increasingly believe that the right time to launch a token is at the start of the project, not the end

I agree too. I’m working on a project and I feel like a token from the beginning makes a lot of sense, but also very cognizant of the boom/bust cycle and not wanting it to be speculative to that level

Hmm I’m not sure loyalty is utility? Can you elaborate on that part?

Eg with noice, the token itself is used to tip with engagement. The more early noice you have, set at a fixed price (eg, $0.01), the more you’ll be able to participate in the project 

I think the utility is what drives loyalty, encouraging people to hold and become loyal

'project' tokens are ultimately loyal points that reward engagement, which is good. loyalty is utility. although, the fact that they are all have a supply of 100billion is a strange requirement.
