Blended learning combines online and face-to-face instruction, impacting students’ social skills by providing diverse interaction opportunities. While virtual components offer flexibility and self-paced learning, they may limit spontaneous peer engagement and non-verbal communication practice. Conversely, in-person sessions foster collaboration, empathy, and teamwork through direct social contact. Effective blended models intentionally incorporate group projects, discussions, and social-emotional learning to balance digital convenience with interpersonal development. Research suggests that well-designed hybrid approaches can support both academic achievement and social skill growth, preparing students for real-world communication and collaboration demands.
