as concerns the Gravity Falls, Owl House, and Amphibia trifecta: Gravity Falls is the best show with the best supplementals (books and such). Owl House is a close second, but needed a full season to conclude their ambitious story arc. Amphibia is great but falls short of the other two.

I think that’s how this will go. Varun’s technology will get forked; the core community will migrate (all 32 of us); and we’ll be spared Dan’s leadership and corpo entanglements. Buuuuut server architecture costs money to run, besides dev research and maintenance. For all its talk of money and freedom, crypto has found no sustainable way to fund pro-social stuff. Tokenomic systems all follow natural laws and, like any entropic system, eventually fizzle out. Nothing is perpetual except crypto’s own bullshit. We’d need actual money, motivation, and developer chops to get it done. Not some distracting crypto experiment. And I think someone will eventually attempt it. If that person is a torchbearer for strong values, such as @cassie, it miiiiiight succeed. She’s not the only one but the pool of candidates is limited. I’d follow her. I bet you would too.
