TLDR: In early 2024, @jacek launched $DEGEN and farcaster changed. @purp, blunt in hand, parlayed that opportunity into a new DAO, dubbed /degendao and later rebranded to The Haberdashery. The DAO is flush with 300k in treasury (bloody but stable), a community that actually participates, and healthy relationships with farcaster's best devs and KOLs. Taken together - and with today's launch and new direction - it's one of the few DAOs in the arena doing stuff and we're fully aligned with farcaster, as a trading wallet and social network.
