It's interesting how many people light up with interest when I tell them I'm currently (primarily) a novelist. Which, now that I've seen more of how the sausage is made, is actually a low bar. Disproportionately "fantastical" as a vocation. It's not *that* amazing. Should be lower on the tier list. 😅
