3/14 Programmable staking is not the only way to access decentralized trust. There are plenty of options with different advantages and drawbacks.
4/14 Programmable staking (as a more generic form of restaking) is a way to rent cryptoeconomic security by adding slashing conditions to pre-existing assets.
Restaking and EigenLayer from first principles 1/14 As the restaking conversation is moving to LRTs and risks, let's take a step back and ensure we have the basics covered! - Why do we need AVSs? - What is programmable staking? - How is it implemented in Eigenlayer? - What can you build on top?
