Here's a radical solution: Make blocking model distillation illegal. Which is not so radical; You trained your model on the collective human knowledge, humanity can train new models using what you built. We will pay for usage, adjust your pricing if you think you have to, but anyone can use your models if they pay for the tokens and you don;t get to decide how (common carrier-like policy) we use your model.
