Not all decentralized networks secure something. The concept of "security" and "security budget" in the concept you mention comes mostly from the blockchain nature of Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.
But if you have to think of "security" as a response to an attack vector, then the attack vectors Farcaster "secures" against, are deplatforming and access (API).
