I can give my 2c... There are a ton of L2s that have a bad taste in their mouth around grants, but they're just not doing grants correctly. Where we have historically failed is that we are not giving builders the long term support they need to succeed. Mentorship around product, operations, structured feedback sessions to iterate, access to networks. Many look at Uniswap, and expect that many more should be able to take a small grant and turn into a unicorn (no pun intended) I talked to James Smith today and said that he is working on this exact issue which is great, but I don't think this can come from the EF alone, nor should it. It should come from all of these ecosystems providing the blockspace. We're building some really neat DeFi tools for the ReFi community. A lot of people shit on ReFi, but imo they haven't been given the building blocks to test many ideas in the wild.

A lot of people talk about how the app layer of Ethereum is minimal. But its really clear to me that grant programs in the Ethereum ecosystem need to go beyond the financial. We clown on Solana a lot, but they have a very tight knit mentorship embedded into the superteam pipeline.

I have little fruit gnats that invaded my plants one day. It was from overwatering, but they are extremely tough to get rid of. I have found the solution. You need to kill the gnats, and their larvae at the same time. I cover or surround my pots with sticky traps, and water with mosquito larvae killer that has been soaked into the water. It's finally working!!! 🥳 🥳 🎉
