Protocol simplicity is essential for real trustlessness and self-sovereignty. If a system becomes too complex, only experts can understand it, security suffers, and true decentralization is lost. Ethereum should focus not only on adding features, but on simplifying, reducing bloat, and keeping the core protocol small so it can remain secure, understandable, and resilient in the long term.
