Todayās after-meal dessert, Ggotgam (Korean dried persimmon)! Ggotgam is made by peeling fresh persimmons and drying them. As they dry, the natural sugars inside rise to the surface, which is why you can see a white powdery coating. Itās very sweet and chewy. In Korea, ggotgam is enjoyed as a winter snack or given as a gift, and itās often eaten with tea or used in desserts.
