Our AV side of the business deploys a decent amount of TV's, here's my $.02:
1. Sony: gorgeous screens, shitty OS and apps
2. LG: same
3. Samsung: decent screens, decent apps
4. TCL and Hisense: ok screens and I like Roku
So, if you want a really nice screen, add on something like an AppleTV or Roku to it.
