Law and morality are closely intertwined yet distinct: morality guides personal ethics and ideals of justice, while law enforces societal rules with state authority. Law often draws from moral principles but can diverge, as not all moral wrongs are illegal, nor all laws perfectly moral. They complement each other for social order.
