If you're looking for profitable work engagements as a creative/professional... Build expertise in One Thing, and become a go-to person in delivering that service. It could be in telemarketing, sales, email management, creative writing, business presentation, data engineering, designing, etc... Don't just go around looking for openings. What exactly are you good at that can really be valuable to the organization? Companies are no longer hiring qualifications. They're hiring for value, impacts, and results. Once you build expertise in any relevant skill, you increase your chances of engagements. Build a Personal Brand: In this time and age, personal branding is no longer optional. People now associate more with humans more than business names. Even during negotiations, you stand a chance to control the room if you have built some authority in that field. And now is the easiest time to do it. Get BASED!
