Good air quality is probably worth 50 IQ points and like 100k in income. I’ve only spent like 48h in Delhi in my life and despite my interest in historical cities that’s probably unlikely to increase in my lifetime. Delhi winter AQI averages are now like peak fire days on US west coast with 200+ pm 2.5. Kinda sad but not sad enough to fight it. Blistering summers and brain choking winter pollution. When exactly could you even visit comfortably now?
